The White Sox were humiliated by the Twins last night, falling 9-2 at home. That won't sit well with a better team looking to get back to the .500 mark with a win tonight. Chris Sale looks like a blue-chip prospect as he has delivered in all seven of his starts on the season. His ERA is a highly respectable 2.91 on the season, and he has not allowed more than 3 runs in any of them. Scott Diamond was inserted into the Twins’ rotation in May and promptly delivered a pair of seven-inning stints allowing no runs, but he was touched-up for 3 runs and eight hits and didn't get out of the sixth inning in his last start. The Twins are a pathetic 28-70 over their last 98 games, while the White Sox are having success vs. good pitchers that have a WHIP of 1.15 or less, where they are now 6-1 in their last seven. Play on the White Sox.
