Minnesota at Chicago

The Minnesota Twins and the Chicago White Sox are both dealing with injuries but the Twins are a much deeper team that can absorb the losses better than the rebuilding White Sox. Chicago has improved considerably as they are 38-41 on the season. Today they will hand the ball to Ivan Nova. Nova has struggled as a pitching option and his numbers at home are woeful. Nova has yet to win a home start where his ERA is a not-so friendly 8.79. The Twins counter with Michael Pineda who was destroyed by the long ball yielding 14 HRs in his first 10 starts but just one in his last five. The Twins have a big edge here all the way around, so play on Minnesota.
