Minnesota at Chicago

It is well noted that Chris Sale has been a difference maker on the mound for the Chicago White Sox. However, he is still pitching on a weak team, and the oddsmakers have set a Herculean line for this one that simply does not fit. Minnesota has more than held their own vs Chicago this season, as they have a winning record, on the strength of a 4 game sweep back in June. Logan Darnell does not have much of a track record yet, but he did open some eyes with three hitless innings vs. the best team in baseball in the Oakland A's. The odds here are simply stacked too high for a pedestrian team with a bad bullpen. I like Minnesota here, as I think the numbers are just way over the top in this one.
