I can't remember when the Red Sox have been so abused at Fenway Park as they have this season, where they own a losing record into August. Once again they coughed-up a sizeable lead to lose to the Twins 6-5. Clay Buchholz is called upon to once again stop the bleeding. Although he has a 9-3 record on the season, his 4.75 ERA calls attention to the fact that he has been less than pedestrian this season. The Twins call upon capable rookie Cole DeVries who has an ERA close to a run better than Bucchholz, so the role of a huge dog here certainly offers value on the team with the mojo going. The Twins have taken the first two here, running Boston's home losing streak to three. The Twins have captured 8 of their last 11 vs. a losing team, along with five straight vs. a chucker with a greater than 1.30 WHIP on the season. Play on Minnesota in this one.
