Minnesota at Baltimore

The Baltimore Orioles appear to be cruising towards an AL East championship, as they own a seven game lead over the New York Yankees with about a month to go. Tonight they go with hard-luck pitcher Miguel Gonzalez. Gonzalez has a 6-7 record on the season, but has pitched to an ERA that deserves better at 3.75. While he has allowed 2 runs or fewer in six of his last seven starts, he owns just a 2-2 record in the seven games, as Baltimore just doesn't score much for him. Minnesota has had some recent offensive explosions, but overall they are not a very strong offensive team. They are 13-6-1 to the UNDER on the road in their last 20 when facing a right-handed starter, and just 15-7 to the UNDER when opening a series in their last 22. The Birds have played five straight to the UNDER when following a win, and own a 20-7-1 UNDER mark behind Gonzalez vs. a team that scored 5+ in their previous game, as he shuts them down.
