The Milwaukee Brewers came out of the gate as the hottest team in baseball, sporting a 20-7 record through their first 27 games. It all came to a screeching halt from that point on as the Brewers have been a subpar team since. They have played seven games under the .500 mark, and at best are a pedestrian team. St. Louis has been in pennant races frequently of late and they have responded by posting a 13-5 mark over their last 18 games to lead the NL Central down the stretch. The Cardinals have owned right-handed pitching where they are an amazing 82-35 in their last 117 at home vs. a right-hander, and overall they are now 17-5 at home in their last 22 to a posted total of 7 to 8.5. The Brewers' late season road woes are well noted as they are just 1-9 in their last 10. The Brewers are just 21-44 in the last 65 played in this series, and Miller has led the Cards to a perfect 7-0 mark vs. the Brewers in his last seven starts against them. Take St. Louis.
