The St. Louis Cardinals appeared dead in terms of the postseason, but they got hot in September while the Braves faded, and didn't clinch a playoffs spot until the last day of the season. These have historically been dangerous teams, and they did the unthinkable sinking the consensus World Series team, Philadelphia to get to the NLCS. Milwaukee had been all but invincible at home, but the Cardinals dealt them a blow in Game 2, and a home win last night sees them up 2-1, playing at home, and the Brewers have to be more than a bit nervous here. Randy Wolf has been bad lately and poor on the road the entire season with a 6-8 mark and a 4.27 ERA. Kyle Lohse has outpitched Wolf for the season, and even more so of late. The Brewers are wielding an 0-5 mark on the playoffs road in their last five, and that doesn't bode well as St. Louis has been big in their last 22 vs. winning teams at 17-5. The Brewers are just 2-8 in their last 10 vs. the Cardinals. St. Louis takes command with a Game 4 win.
