I don't think too many would give the Cards much of a chance if you told them that as April closes they have zero wins from Wainwright and Carpenter. That is the case, but the Cards are 13-7 and one of the reasons is Kyle Lohse, who is off to a 3-0 start backed by a microscopic 0.99 ERA. Don't forget their bats either, as they piled up 13 runs here last night vs. the Brewers. The Brewers pitching woes continue as they are 5-9 over their last 14, having allowed 47 runs in their last eight games or just about six per contest. The Brewers are delivering the donuts on the road in their last seven vs. a team that is over .600, at 0-7. Play on St. Louis.
