Milwaukee at St. Louis

The Milwaukee Brewers have started slowly at 2-6 on the season, but have split the first two games in St. Louis. The Cardinals have had trouble leaving men on base as they have stranded 57 runners through seven games.  Mike Fiers brings value to this game for Milwaukee as he did not allow more than three runs in any of his 10 starts a year ago, but was roughed up in hs 2015 debut. St. Louis managed just three runs in 13.1 innings against him last season. John Lackey has been a quality starter through his career, but his biggest problem has been his inability to keep the ball in the park, which was his undoing in his 2015 debut as well, serving up a pair of long ones for the loss.
