Adam Wainwright has had a good career, but the 39-year-old's days may be numbered if his first outing this season is any indication. The right-hander was clobbered for six runs on seven hits in 2 and 2/3 innings in a 9-6 loss to Cincinnati. Wainwright gave up five runs on 12 hits in 13 2/3 innings against Milwaukee in 2020 and his counterpart today is Corbin Burnes, who allowed just a run on one hit in 6 1/3 innings against Minnesota on Saturday, although the Brewers lost 2-0. Milwaukee beat the Cubs 4-2 in 10 innings on Wednesday when Lorenzo Cain hit a solo home run in the eighth and a three-run shot in the 10th. Take the Brewers.
