There is one season why the Milwaukee Brewers are still in the Wild Card playoff hunt and it is because of their 20-7 start to the season, but let's not be fooled. The Brewers have been a worse than average team from game 28 on where they own a 59-67 record and they trail the Pirates by 3.5 games for the second Wild Card spot. Pittsburgh has been a hot team down the stretch when the heat is on, winning 11 of their last 13 games and are 49-29 on the season at home. Yovani Gallardo is now 8-10 on the season and saw his losing streak reach four games in his last outing. The Brewers' offense has gone in the tank as they managed to produce just 5 runs in 34 innings in their most recent series vs. St. Louis. Milwaukee has been a disaster on the road where they are just 1-10 in their last 11, and Pittsburgh is 7-1 in Locke's last eight home starts. Back the Pirates.
