The oddsmakers seem to still be having a hard time wrapping around the fact that after 20 years of futility, the Pirates have made great strides. They now sit at 23-17 as we near the quarter pole of the MLB season. The Brewers had a nine-game winning streak, which has been undone by their most recent slide at 2-11. Outside of the winning streak they are now 7-22. The Brewers find themselves at 12-30 in their last 42 games as a road dog, and have taken the donut in Game Four of a series where they are now 0-7 in their last seven. These are teams heading in opposite directions, so play on Pittsburgh on the runline.
