Milwaukee at Pittsburgh

The expectations were high in Pittsburgh starting the 2014 campaign. The Pirates, after two full decades of futility, have gotten back into the pennant race. Those expectations took a U-turn when the Pirates got off to a slow start, but there is evidence their fortunes are changing. Pittsburgh is creeping back to the .500 mark on the strength of a 10-5 stretch in their last 15 games. Milwaukee opened at a surprising 20-7, but has been below .500 since, so these teams are heading in opposite directions.
