The Milwaukee Brewers will have Chris Narveson on the hill, and he has not pitched since injuring his thumb with scissors, and could likely be on a pitch count here. He has just a 4.48 ERA on the season. Jeff Karstens has had a breakout year for the Pirates entering this game with a 3.12 ERA and a 9-6 record on the season. The Brewers have been awful this season on the road following a game where their bullpen gave up zero runs in their previous game, following with an 8-20 mark this season.
