Milwaukee at Philadelphia

As usual, Milwaukee is a terrible road team and one of the worst in the NL, getting outscored by 44 runs. In recent years they've been good on offense, but not so this season, 20th in runs scored and 18th in on-base percentage. Their two-game win streak ended a six-game skid. Mike Fiers (1-3, 5.66 ERA) goes today with scary numbers, a 10.00 ERA and an 0-2 record his last three starts. The Brewers are 4-11 in their last 15 road games and 7-20 against a left-handed starter. They don't face any old lefty here, but ace Cliff Lee (6-2, 2.34 ERA) who is having a dominant season, striking out 63 in 80+ innings, 65 hits allowed, and only 13 walks.  He is 4-0 with a 1.15 ERA in his last five starts. The Phillies are 5-0 in Lee's last five starts, and the Brewers are 13-30 in the last 43 meetings in Philadelphia. Play the Phillies.
