Milwaukee at Philadelphia

The Phillies certainly welcome back the bat of Ryan Howard, who drove in another run last night. The Phillies were once left for dead, scored 6 runs in the bottom of the 8th to earn a 7-6 win over Milwaukee. That should give them a spike today as should Vance Worley who has exceeded expectations in the Phillies rotation with a very respectable 3.82 ERA. Worley has allowed 3 runs or less in 11 of his 14 starts this season. Milwaukee is way down from where they were a year ago, and continue to struggle on the road at 18-29. Marco Estrada has not been the answer as he is just 4-12 in a Brewers uniform, including 0-4 this season. Milwaukee shows little resistance as a +110 to +150 dog where they are a woeful 14-38 in their last 52. Worley's consistent efforts on the mound have paid dividends vs. the lesser teams, as Philadelphia is 11-3 in his last 14 vs. a losing team. Play the Phillies.
