Milwaukee was demolished by a hitting barrage by the Yankees, who won 20-9 on Saturday while hitting nine homers - three by Aaron Judge. The good news for the Brewers was they were able to put nine on the board with 13 hits of their own and they'll have a better pitcher on the mound today in Aaron Civale. The Brewers still have won 12 of their past 15 against AL teams and they will be going against Marcus Stroman, who went 10-9 with a 4.31 ERA and a 1.47 WHIP in 2024. Stroman lost some velocity last year and was destined to be a reliever before injuries to other starters got him back in the rotation. Teams often bounce back after being humiliated the previous day.
