Milwaukee won its third straight Friday night as Neil Walker hit a grand slam during an eight-run eighth, and the Brewers remain in the hunt for a playoff spot. This game was originally scheduled to be played in Miami, but was moved to Miller Park due to Hurricane Irma. Zach Davies is 17-8 with a 3.67 ERA and has not allowed more than two runs his last six starts, including a 3-1 win over the Cubs on Sunday when he gave up just one run on seven hits in seven innings. Davies had a 2.06 ERA in August and 1.42 so far in September, and he won his only start against the Marlins this year. Adam Conley has allowed nine runs on 20 hits in 14 2/3 innings his last three starts, and the Marlins lost all three. The Brewers have won 19 of Davies' last 27 starts and they have now won six of their last seven overall. The Marlins have lost 16 of 21 overall and 13 of their last 16 versus right-handed starters.
