It's easy to dismiss a Houston team that lost 213 games over the last two seasons, and appeared headed for a similar fate this season. Over a 162-game season, bad teams find a stretch or two where they play beyond their means, and Houston certainly is doing so now. The Astros are riding a confidence-building 12-8 run over their last 20 games, and Milwaukee has been plain awful. The Brewers own streaks of nine and four games, but otherwise have been 15-41, and have been awful as an interleague favorite at 3-14 in their last 17. Tack on their anemic 6-21 mark in their last 27 games when facing a left-handed starter, and you have the recipe for a primed home dog. Go with Houston.
