Milwaukee at Houston

The Milwaukee Brewers looked like contenders early on in the NL Central, when it was thought that the departures of Sheets and Sabathia would leave them on the outside looking in. That has happened as the season has progressed as those holes have taken their toll, and the Brewers are just 21-31 over their last 52 games. It will be up to one of those fill-ins, Charles Villanueva, to stem the tide, but he is an unlikely source. Villanueva has pitched to a 6 ERA on the season, has a 2-8 record, and has made but two starts with neither lasting more than five innings. The Astros may have found something in Bud Norris, who went on the road and shutout a tough Cardinals team for seven innings. The Astros have been solid at home, winning 10 of their last 14 against a righthand starter. I'll back them here in this one.
