Milwaukee's pitching has been as good as advertised, third in the majors in ERA (3.41) and fifth in the bullpen (3.00). They've won three of five allowing just 14 runs. The Brewers are 9-5 on the road, 11-5 on the road against a lefty starter, plus 28-8 versus a starting pitcher who surrenders one or more homers per start. Milwaukee's Eric Lauer is 3-0 on the road this season with a 2.37 ERA. Colorado's pitching has been as bad as expected, 27th in ERA (5.25), 26th in WHIP, and 21st in the pen (4.50), while the defense is 28th in fielding. They've lost the last four starts made by Kyle Freeland, who has a 5.06 ERA at home after having a 6.00 ERA at Coors Field in 2022 (87 innings). The Colorado offense is just 24th in runs scored, 21st in on-base percentage, and 19th in slugging.
