The Reds’ Travis Wood got roughed-up early as he allowed 23 runs in his first 24.2 innings of work on the season. He has since settled down, allowing just 11 in his last 30 innings for a 3.30 ERA. Those early numbers have skewed his reality, and forced the oddsmakers up on the total. Chris Narveson is facing the same fate, with two horrific starts, allowing 6 and 7 runs, but has been very solid otherwise. The Brewers’ silent bats on the road vs. lefthanders has led to a 13-3-1 UNDER mark in their last 17. Wood is geared toward momentum, as in his last seven starts after allowing 2 or fewer in his previous start, the Reds are 6-1 to the UNDER. I'll make the call on the UNDER in this one.
