Cincinnati snapped a four-game losing streak with a 9-4 win over the Brewers as Jesse Winker went 4-for-4 with three solo home runs for the Reds. Milwaukee has hit hard times as it lost for the sixth time in seven games and the Brewers are 2-8 their past 10 road contests. Sonny Gray has pitched better than his 0-3 record indicates and he has allowed only five earned runs in 16 1/3 innings at home and he owns a 2.08 ERA in day games covering 21 2/3 innings. The right-hander gave up five runs with 19 strikeouts in 15 1/3 innings against Milwaukee in 2020. Brett Anderson didn't make it past the fourth inning his last outing when he gave up four runs on eight hits in 3 2/3 innings against Atlanta. Opposing hitters are batting .292 against Anderson this year. Take the Reds.
