This has been a grueling week for both teams. They played a double-header Monday, so this is their fourth game in three days against each other. Milwaukee is off a tough offensive game, but the talent is here, ranked #11 in baseball in on-base percentage. It's good to be able to clog the bases in a small park like Wrigley Field. The Brewers are a big dog with an impressive 23-year-old righty on the mound in Zach Davies (9-5, 3.80 ERA). The team has a winning record his last eight starts and he has a winning record on the road. Davies has a 3.69 ERA away from home and only one road defeat this season. Davies is off a bad start against the Reds, but the previous six starts he went 4-0 with a 2.31 ERA. He debuted last year at Wrigley Field and tossed six innings of two-hit, shutout ball to beat the Cubs. He also beat them this season, allowing three hits and one run in six-plus inning (1.42 ERA). In fact, he is 2-0 with a 0.73 ERA in two career meetings with the Cubs. Chicago has an ace of its own going in Jake Arietta, but the team is 3-6 his last nine money-burning starts. That included losses as favorites of -260, -220, -200, -215 and -230. Take the big dog Milwaukee.
