The Chicago Cubs sent their top two pitchers to Oakland, and began again to look ahead to next season - a practice all too common in the Windy City. One of those prospects for next season is Kyle Hendricks. Hendricks has impressed with four straight quality starts, and enters at 3-1 with a nifty 2.10 ERA. He even survived Coors Field, a strong sign, where he allowed just 2 runs in eight frames. Wily Peralta is looking for a MLB high 15th win as he is 14-6, but the ERA is 3.42, a bit higher than what the record indicates. He has had issues vs. the Cubs with a 2-4 career record and 4.06 ERA against them. Hendricks gives the Cubs the edge here, so make the play on Chicago.
