The Atlanta Braves have gotten themselves back to the .500 mark, as they won an easy one last night at home vs Milwaukee. Milwaukee on the otherhand has played poorly all season, and in their last 4 defeats they have allowed 34 runs, and their now 15-27 record at the quarter pole is the worst mark in the NL. Wily Peralta was a 17 game winner a year ago, but he isn't anything resembling that pitcher this season. Peralta is 1-5 on the season, and in 8 starts he has served up 8 long balls, and opponents are hitting a robust .310 against him. Alex Wood allowed just 1 earned run over 7 innings in his last trip to the mound, and was 2-0 a year ago vs Milwaukee with a stellar 1.13 ERA. Make the play on Atlanta.
