Miami vs. Atlanta

Atlanta got fired up after Ronald Acuna, Jr. was hit by a pitch after he hit a homer in the first inning and the Braves went on to a 9-5 victory to take a 1-0 series lead. Travis D'Arnaud doubled and singled while driving in four runs and the Braves put the game away with a six-run seventh inning. Today it is Ian Anderson on the mound for Atlanta and he comes off six shutout innings while allowing just two hits in a 5-0 win over Cincinnati on Thursday. The right-hander finished the regular season with a 1.95 ERA and 41 strikeouts in 32 and 1/3 innings. Pablo Lopez starts for Miami and he was knocked around for seven runs in just 1 and 2/3 innings against the Braves on Sept. 9, before pitching five scoreless innings against them on Sept. 24. Atlanta has won five of the last six meetings and it has won eight of its last 11 games overall. For my Max Play, take the Braves.
