Miami won its third in a row 11-5 on Saturday and continued its dominance over the Nationals with a 25-6 record the past 31 meetings. Jesus Sanchez and Bryan De La Cruz each hit a three-run homer and Jake Burger added two solo shots for the Marlins, who banged out 18 hits and Washington lost its fourth straight game. Sandy Alcantara has had a disappointing season, but the last two months he has kept his ERA under 3.50. Washington batters are a combined 16-for-90 for a .178 batting average with two homers against Alcantara. Josiah Gray pitched only two innings on Monday and allowed four runs on four hits and he is 7-11 with a 4.05 ERA and 1.48 WHIP on the season. The Nationals are back in last place in the NL East.
