Miami at Washington

Miami pulled out another victory as Garrett Cooper hit a grand slam with two outs in the ninth to beat the Tigers and give the Marlins their sixth win in a row. Meanwhile, Washington is going in a different direction having just getting swept by the lowly New York Mets and the Nationals now have lost 20 of their last 28. Pablo Lopez had one horrendous outing against the Mets, but otherwise has been decent and he rebounded to shut out the Mets on one hit in seven innings his last time out as the Marlins won 2-0. Kyle McGowin is making his first start of the season for Washington and he gave up three runs in three innings in his only appearance this year. The Nationals have lost 36 of their last 52 in the first game of a series dating to last season. Take the Marlins.
