Miami at Washington

Washington will look to win its second straight following a 4-1 win on Thursday when the Nationals scored three runs in the 10th in an impressive victory over the Astros. Trevor Williams will start tonight and Washington won his last outing 6-2 over Atlanta as he allowed two runs on seven hits in five innings. Williams faced the Marlins once this season and gave up three runs on five hits in six innings. Sandy Alcantara hasn't been nearly the pitcher he was last year with a current 2-5 record and 4.75 ERA although he does come off a 5-1 win over the White Sox on Saturday. He still has allowed 20 runs on 35 hits in 36 2/3 innings on the road for a 4.91 ERA and the Marlins have lost seven of his past 11 starts. Miami has lost ten of 14 road contests versus opponents with losing records and the Marlins are just 17-18 on the road this year. Take the Nationals.
