Miami at Washington

The Miami Marlins knew it would be a trying year, but at 23-46 they have to feel disappointed in the fact that no progress has been made. The Marlins have been exposed offensively, and overall with their biggest weakness. Miami has been almost a .500 team vs. righthanded pitching, but the weakness is their ugly numbers against lefthaned pitching which is a woeful 3-21. They average four runs per game vs. righthanders, but just 2.67 runs per game vs. lefthanders. Since last season, when the Marlins trot out Trevor Rogers vs. a losing opponent, they are just 3-16 and 4-20 as a small dog of +100 to +150. Back the Nats here.
