Miami did snap a five-game losing streak with a 3-2 win on Friday as Miguel Rojas hit a three-run homer, but now the Marlins go up against Max Scherzer in today's matchup. Scherzer looks to bounce back from a rare poor performance against Baltimore on Sunday when he gave up five runs on eight hits in seven innings, although the Nationals did pull out a 6-5 victory. The Marlins counter with left-hander Daniel Castano, who has given up five earned runs on nine hits in only 10 1/3 innings this season. The Marlins are 17-37 their last 54 road games and 17-38 overall vs. NL East teams. Also, Miami is 18-51 the last 69 meetings at Washington and 14-38 the last 52 meetings overall.
