Miami at Washington

Dan Straily makes his first start for his new team and he pitched well against the Nationals last season, allowing only five runs and four hits in 14 innings, including three runs in seven innings at Nationals Park. Straily came on strong in the second half in 2016 with a 10-2 record and 3.10 ERA after the All-Star break. Tanner Roark was 2-4 with 4.46 ERA against the Marlins last year allowing 17 earned runs and 19 hits in 34 1/3 innings. Also, Roark's favorite catcher, Wilson Ramos, is now gone, which could cause some needed adjustments. Washington has lost four of five home starts by Roark versus the Marlins and two of his last eight starts against Miami overall. There is good value with the road dog in this matchup.
