Miami at Washington

These clubs take on completely different roles this season. The Marlins opened a new stadium and stacked the roster with stars, and never got off the ground. They trimmed the fat from the roster, and the expectations are now low. Washington came out of nowhere to become a playoffs team with little expectations, but those expectations are high now. Kevin Slowey could be a sleeper for the Marlins, and he had a great spring with a 2.63 ERA. Sometimes it is a lot easier to play with little expectations and much more difficult when they run high. Washington closed out last year with a 3-9 mark after a win, and also 3-9 with Cooper calling balls and strikes. This one is priced to high, so take Miami.
