The Marlins won’t win the World Series under Jack McKeon like they did in 2003 when he took over in midseason, but they are playing better baseball since he re-stepped in. Florida is 3-1 the last four games, cashing as a dog all three times, including +154 yesterday. This has been a great road trip for the offense, scoring 22 runs the last four games. Texas is a great park to score runs in and they also send a red-hot pitcher to the mound in veteran Javier Vazquez. He has a 1.04 ERA his last three starts, walking just two in 17 innings (walks were his problem earlier this season). While Florida is hot, the Rangers have cooled off, losing four of seven games despite being favored in all seven. Texas has not been good at closing out series, as the Rangers are 0-6 in their last six during game three of a series. Play the Marlins.
