Miami at St. Louis

The Miami Marlins had built a pretty good lineup, and last year's offense was pretty solid. Unfortunately, the group led by Derek Jeter that bought the team, shed most of it in an attempt to dump salary and start from just about scratch. This team is far from competitive, but even the worst of teams have some ups on the season. Miami has just cast aside a bad stretch of 1-9 over 10 games, and has replaced it with two straight wins, and will go for the sweep against St. Louis in this one. After allowing a total of just 18 runs in six games, the Cardinals have run into some suddenly hot Marlins' bats, and have allowed 18 in the first two games of this series. The Marlins have a feel good and some confidence right now. Make the play on Miami.
