The Miami Marlins were a disaster a year ago, but they found some magic early in the season. However, that disappeared when Jose Fernandez was lost for the season. The Marlins are just 7-15 in their last 22 games. The Cardinals have gotten extremely strong pitching, as they have been 16-9 over their last 25 games, and have recorded six shutouts along the way, and almost made it seven yesterday as Miami scored their only runs in the ninth inning. Andrew Heaney has yet to prove that he belongs in the major leagues as he's posted three losses in as many starts with an ERA of over 5. Miami is a disappointing 1-10 in their last 11 games vs. a team over .500, while St. Louis is 43-13 in their last 56 at home vs. a team with a road winning percentage of less than .400. All Cardinals in this one.
