Miami at San Francisco

San Francisco won eight of its last nine home contests before Miami came to town and took two of the first three games to ensure their fifth straight non-losing series at AT&T Park (3-0-2). Miami is off a win yesterday, but the Marlins are 8-18 after scoring five runs or more in their previous game. They are 3,000 miles from home and go with struggling Mat Latos (1-3, 5.60 ERA). The Marlins are 4-11 on the road against a right-handed starter and face righty Ryan Vogelsong. Volgelsong permitted three hits and two walks in seven innings of a 6-0 victory over San Diego on Tuesday. The Giants are on a 9-3 run at home and 21-10 when Vogelsong is a home favorite.
