Miami at San Diego

The ownership group led by Derek Jeter stripped down this Marlins roster last year for an entire rebuild. They are just 19-36 on the season. Like many bad teams, there are going to be good stretches and the Marlins have been 9-5 over their last 14 games. The Marlins send  Jose Urena (3-6, 4.11 ERA) to the mound who has pitched very well for the most part against Nick Margevicius (2-5 4.96 ERA). Margevicius has spent the last 11 days in AAA working some things out so the Marlins have a rare edge on the hill for this one. The Padres have been out-scored 25-13 in their last five and are leaking a bit of oil right now. Back Miami.
