Miami at Pittsburgh

Pittsburgh has won four of Trevor Williams' last five starts and he hasn't allowed more than three runs in any of them. The Pirates beat the Mets on Sunday when the right-hander gave up just one run on seven hits in seven innings. Williams had one bad outing against the Dodgers on May 8, which brought his overall ERA up, but otherwise has pitched well. Dan Straily has been effective at home this season, however, on the road he is 1-3 with a hefty 5.46 ERA. In one appearance against the Pirates this year, Straily gave up three runs on four hits in 5 1/3 innings. In 2016, Straily was 8-1 with a 2.90 ERA at home but 6-7 and 4.70 on the road. Miami won a slugfest last night, but the Marlins are 6-21 their last 27 games when their opponent scores at least five runs its previous game dating to last season. Play the Pirates.
