At 26-33 on the season, the Miami Marlins have not had a lot of things go their way. That changed the last time Edinson Volquez took the mound as he tossed a no-hitter. While that was a huge outing for Volquez, it certainly has not been his norm in 2017, where the Marlins own a 3-8 record when he takes the mound. Gerrit Cole has deserved better for the Pirates who are just 6-6 in his 12 starts in 2017, but he has seen those 12 games leave opponents with an average of just 3.25 runs per contest. He has had a lot more success at home where the Pirates are 4-1 on the season, and opponents scoring a stingy 2.4 runs a contest, including 1.75 runs a game in his last 4 outings here. Make the play on Pittsburgh.
