Philadelphia has won four of five and moved eight games ahead in the NL East with a 6-2 victory over Detroit on Wednesday. Brandon Marsh went 4-for-4 with a two-run homer and a two-run single for the Phillies, who have the best record in baseball. Zack Wheeler starts tonight and he is 9-4 with a 0.96 WHIP and 107 strikeouts in 99 innings pitched. Wheeler allowed a run on two hits in seven innings his last outing on Saturday against Arizona. His past four Thursday starts have stayed UNDER and Philadelphia is 8-1-1 UNDER against teams that scored two or fewer runs their previous game. Miami has lost seven of eight road games, including 5-1 to Kansas City yesterday. The Phillies are 14-2 in Wheeler's past 16 starts as a home favorite of -201 or greater.
