Miami at New York

The New York Mets spent big in the offseason and everything imploded. The Mets were supposed to contend for the NL crown, but instead they are 72-86 on the season, and sold off Scherzer and Verlander at the trade deadline. The Mets stole a game in this series, but that has still left them at 1-5 in their last six games. The Marlins are currently tied with the Chicago Cubs for the third and final wildcard in the NL. The Mets stole a game in this series already, so they have been showing up and would love to help knock division-rival Miami from the playoffs. The Mets have a good chance with David Peterson on the mound. He has five career starts against the Marlins and a 2.77 ERA in those five. I think the Mets are in this to the end and will make the play on New York today, on the runline.
