Miami at Los Angeles

Los Angeles seems to always have a huge run in July and August and it's no different this year as the Dodgers are on an 11-game win streak and are 10 1/2 games in front in the NL West. The Dodgers have been getting excellent pitching as they have allowed only 13 runs their past nine games and they just swept the Brewers in a three-game series. Miami still is in playoff contention, but the Marlins are 26-32 on the road and Sandy Alcantara will start tonight and he has had a disappointing year. Alcantara is 5-10 with a 4.09 ERA although he does come off a 3-1 win over the Yankees when he went the distance. The Dodgers have won Tony Gonsolin's past three starts and he gave up a run on three hits in six innings against Colorado on Saturday. Miami has lost 14 of its past 17 road games and the Marlins have lost seven of the past eight meetings with Los Angeles. Take the Dodgers as a Max Play.
