Miami at Houston

This is a game between a pair of teams trying to turn the corner, and while each is improved over a year ago, they are both a long way from contending. Miami has made the most strides as they are still a longshot contender in the NL at 6.5 games back in the final wildcard slot. Miami is the feel good team right now as they went to Atlanta and took three of four from the Braves.  Brad Hand has pitched much better since being inserted back into the rotation as he has made four starts pitching to an ERA of 3.22. Dallas Keuchel is a good pitcher gone bad as he is mired in a deep slump. His last five starts show a 6.07 ERA, and he has allowed 48 hits in 29.2 innings of work. He has also been poor when pitching on extended rest where the Astros are 4-15 in his last 19 on five days rest. The Marlins have posted a 10-1 record in their laast 11 as an interleague dog, and are a live one tonight. Make the play on Miami.
