Detroit's lack of hitting cost the Tigers another game as they lost 1-0 in 10 innings on Tuesday. However, today they will face Trevor Rogers, who is starting for the Marlins and he is 0-6 with a 6.57 ERA and a ghastly 1.86 WHIP this season. He has allowed 12 earned runs on 17 hits his past two starts in just 5 2/3 innings pitched. Rogers' teams are 2-12 when the total is 8 to 8.5 the past two seasons and 1-15 overall when he starts in day games. Casey Mize comes off one of his best outings this year as he gave up just a run on five hits in six innings against Houston on Friday. Mize has a 2.65 ERA at home while allowing five earned runs in 17 innings.
