Miami at Colorado

Miami is a long way from home, and this is their third straight road game out West, part of a nine-game trip. They have allowed five runs in each of the last five games, off a 5-4 loss yesterday. The Marlins are 18-37 on the road against a team with a losing home record and 3-7 in southpaw Brad Hand's last 10 road starts. Hand has a 4.52 ERA overall and walks too many batters (32 in 79+ innings). It's even worse on the road, walking 18 in 39 road innings, and you don't want to allow free passes in a park like Coors Field. The Marlins are 5-14 in Hand's last 19 starts. Colorado has plenty of offensive punch, second in baseball in runs scored and on base percentage, tops in batting average and slugging.
