The Miami Marlins spent a ton of money in the offseason to enforce both their lineup and pitching. It has so far not paid off for them. One of those additions was Cubs’ mal-content, Carlos Zambrano. Zambrano has not been up to past standards, especially of late as in his last five starts he has lasted just 23 innings, yielding 22 runs, and hasn't survived the third inning in each of his last two starts. Complicating matters is a sputtering offense that has scored 2 runs or less in nine of their last 14 games. The Red Sox have been kings of interleague play, especially at home vs. a team with a losing record where they stand tall at 29-8. The Marlins are also just 6-20 after losing the first two games of a series and 1-9 in their last 10 vs. a winning team. Play on Boston.
