Miami at Atlanta

Atlanta defeated the Marlins for the eighth time in a row when Brian McCann hit a bases-loaded, walk-off single in the ninth to win 1-0. Miami has lost five straight while the Braves sit firmly atop the NL East with a 53-36 record. Atlanta has won 13 of its last 16 home games, and the Marlins are 22-51 their last 73 road games. Max Fried is 9-3 and getting good run support while the Braves have won five of his last six starts. The left-hander has faced the Marlins once this year and allowed three runs on six hits in six innings. Caleb Smith makes his first appearance since June 6 after coming off the injury list, and he is 0-3 with a road ERA of 4.66. Take the Braves to get another win over the hapless Marlins.
