The Dodgers stand just two games behind St. Louis for the second wildcard spot in the NL. This becomes a big game, as they all will from here on out. Chris Capuano has given them a lift down the stretch as the Dodgers have won each of his last three starts and his 3.60 ERA on the season is falling. Ross Detwiler has been pretty steady all season at 9-6 with a 3.16 ERA, but suffered a loss vs. the Dodgers in his only outing against them this season. LA has chewed-up lefthanders on the road at 10-2 in their last 12, and Capuano has been better on five days rest where the Dodgers are also 10-2 in his last 12 starts on an extra day of rest. The Dodgers get the call in this one.
